Dhruv Saxena Editor The BU COMmunicator

Dhruv Saxena blends his passion for cars and proficiency creating content for print and broadcast platforms to excel as an automotive industry journalist.

From 2018 to 2024, Dhruv worked with Auto Today, an automotive publication owned by the India Today Group. In addition to news articles and product reviews, his primary focus was partnered content. He collaborated with prominent brands on feature stories for the publication’s print, television and digital outlets, and spearheaded the associated social media campaigns. Notably, he led the planning and execution of a record-setting drive in partnership with Mercedes-Benz, earning the brand and Auto Today a place in the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records. He also served on the jury of the Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) awards.

Earlier, Dhruv spent more than three years working with leading automotive news websites where he developed a comprehensive understanding of SEO techniques. His expertise helped ensure a consistent flow of online traffic, averaging over two million page views monthly. Dhruv earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from VIT University, India. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public relations from Boston University.

Heera Shetty possesses professional experience in public relations (PR), correspondingwith business-to-consumer and business-to-business companies to amplify their brand narrative.

In 2021, Heera worked as a junior PR account executive at Yardstick Marketing Management, a marketing communications agency in Dubai, UAE. She was responsible for securing media opportunities, writing press releases, strategizing and developing compelling brand campaigns. Subsequently, Heera was promoted to PR account executive wherein she managed five retainer clients across industries, supervised interns and acquired eight projects through sales proposals. 

Earlier, Heera interned with the branding team at Edelman Middle East, a PR consultancy firm in Dubai. Her inaugural foray into the PR industry, this experience provided Heera with significant exposure to various facets of client servicing such as conducting research, generating coverage reports and assisting client events. 

Heera earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public relations at Boston University, USA.
