As a senior at Boston University and the Editor-in-Chief of the COMmunicator this semester, I’ve had the privilege of immersing myself in the dynamic worlds of Advertising, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation. Additionally, I serve as the Director of AdLab’s New Business, a role that has allowed me to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world application, securing bold clients for advertising projects. Outside of school, I love to cook new recipes, make jewelry, and spend time in nature.
I’m honored to serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the COMmunicator, which is the official student-run multimedia publication for Boston University’s Department of Mass Communication, Advertising, and Public Relations. In this role, I take on the responsibility of being the primary student leader and ensure the smooth operation of our media platform. My steadfast commitment to excellence and my unwavering dedication to the field of communication drive me to continue pushing the boundaries of what our publication can achieve, delivering content that informs, engages, and inspires our readers.
The COMmunicator serves as an exquisite tapestry of storytelling and knowledge dissemination. This digital haven is a symphony of voices, gracefully weaving together news pieces, insider stories, personal blogs, faculty news and accolades, heartwarming interviews with accomplished alumni, and the remarkable published works of students from our campus and those embarking on educational journeys abroad.
The COMmunicator invites aspiring writers and content creators from the diverse array of majors offered by BU to join its ranks. This vibrant platform not only provides students with a creative outlet but also the opportunity to earn credits for their contributions, fostering a community of passionate individuals driven by the shared pursuit of excellence in communication and storytelling. The COMmunicator, in its entirety, embodies the spirit of discovery, collaboration, and innovation that courses through the heart of Boston University’s academic landscape.

In our promise to elevating the voices of our esteemed communication students at Boston University, The COMmunicator is poised to embark on a transformative journey through a series of innovative initiatives. Among these exciting developments, we plan to introduce the “Humans of COM” feature, drawing inspiration from the distinguished “Humans of New York.” This feature will serve as the collective voice of our community, providing a platform for the sharing of personal and compelling narratives from both students and faculty.
We also hope to establish a dedicated multimedia section, “The Highlights”, designed to house a captivating array of content, including short films, documentary projects, and photography collections. This dedicated avenue will serve as a canvas for showcasing our visual storytelling acumen while introducing an innovative channel for creative expression.
Lastly, we are planning a “COM Student Showcase” event, an occasion for our students to exhibit their exceptional work to the broader BU community. These visionary initiatives, both collectively and individually, are poised to empower communication students and cultivate enduring connections within our department and throughout our esteemed campus.
I extend a heartfelt welcome to all our readers, both old and new, to The COMmunicator. With every article, interview, and feature, we aim to both inform and inspire, setting the stage for more remarkable stories, thought-provoking insights, and compelling narratives to unfold in the months ahead. So, stay tuned — there is much more to come. Our dedicated team is committed to bringing you a diverse tapestry of content that mirrors the dynamic and exciting landscape of communication at Boston University.
